# Reward Unlock Period

Checker nodes will receive $vKAI tokens. These tokens can be converted to $KAI according to this unlocking schedule:

* **Unlock within 30 days**: Receive 25% of your total $vKAI
* **Unlock within 90 days**: Receive 50% of your total $vKAI
* **Unlock within 180 days**: Receive 100% of your total $vKAI

**Example**: Converting 10,000 $vKAI to $KAI:

* 30-day unlock: Receive 2,500 $KAI
* 90-day unlock: Receive 5,000 $KAI
* 180-day unlock: Receive 10,000 $KAI
